NOTICE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS:
For those planning to travel to the U.S., the U.S. Department of Homeland Security made an announcement June 3, 2008 regarding a new rule for visitors from countries who are allowed to enter the U.S. without visas. The new rule will require these visitors to register biographical data online at least three days before they travel. The new rule will affect visitors from 27 countries, including most of Western Europe. The mandatory online registration via the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) will begin January 12, 2009 but implementation will begin August 1, 2008, where visitors may submit voluntary applications.
